The Object History window enables you to search for the history of encyclopedia objects and to compare those objects. You can filter searches by diagrams or definitions, by types of diagrams and definitions, and search by dates, or by date ranges, among other criteria. Filters are collapsible in the Search pane of the Object History window. The “Why was it modified” filter for Synergy Change Requests is only enabled when the integration with that product is turned on. Further, in the records pane, you can right-click the columns to select which columns to display, or by which column to sort, and move and adjust column widths. Your column settings are stored across System Architect sessions.
To view the Object History pane, select View > Object History. By default, the Object History is shown at the bottom of the System Architect application window, as shown below. The Object History window is pin-able, so when you click the Auto Hide pin, the pane is available as a side tab. You can mouse-over the button to view the pane, and you can resize, undock or adjust the window to your preference.
Note The example below is filtered by Class `Diagrams' and Type `All.'
