SV-2 Systems Resource Flow Description diagrams (DoDAF 2)
You use the SV-2 Systems Resource Flow Description diagram to provide more detail to the interconnections between systems that are modeled on the SV-01 diagram. You can model system interface ports, and the protocols used by those ports when communicating with other systems.

Interface (Port): You can optionally decrease the size of the Interface (Port) symbol to a small rectangle, by dragging in on its handlebars, to produce a small Interface (Port) rectangle as shown in the diagram above.
PortPartOfPerformer Line: Drawn between the Interface (Port) and its System (which is a subtype of Performer).
Resource Flow line: Drawn between Interface (Port) symbols, its definition can detail the Information or Resources sent between the Systems through the Interface (Port).
