Updating the relationships and graphical view of Process Threads
You can use utilities to update the relationships and graphical view of Process Threads with their constituent Elementary Business Processes.
Each Process Chart diagram represents all or part of a process thread. When you add or delete Elementary Business Process symbols to a Process Chart, you should update the matrix to refresh the relationships and graphical view.
1 To update the Elem Bus Processes to Process Threads matrix, in an open Process Chart or Process Decomposition diagram, click Dictionary > Business Enterprise Utilities > Update Process Threads.
All of the Elementary Business Processes within all of the Process Threads in your encyclopedia are updated. The Data, Technology, Location, and Application properties in the Process Threads are populated with all the appropriate properties from the processes.
2 To automatically draw the Elementary Business Processes belonging to a Process Thread, or update the matrix with processes you have manually drawn on the diagram, on an open Process Decomposition diagram, select the process thread; then click Dictionary > Update Selected Process Thread EBPs.
The Elementary Business Process are automatically attached to the Process Threads on the diagram.
