Creating SV-1 systems interface diagrams for NAF 1.0
A systems interface diagram describes the assignments of systems and their interfaces to the nodes and needlines in an NOV-2 operational node connectivity diagram. This diagram links the operational view and systems architecture view.
This product builds on the logical operational view of nodal connectivity that is created in the Operational Node Connectivity diagram. System nodes include the allocations of specific resources, such as people, platforms, facilities, and systems, that implement specific operations.
1 Click File > New Diagram.
2 In the Select New Type for All Methods dialog box, double-click NSV-01 Systems Interface.
3 In the New Diagram dialog box, type a name for the diagram; then click OK.
4 To draw the diagram, click Draw, select elements from the list, and then click an area in the diagram.
5 To save the diagram, click File > Save Diagram.
