Creating NSV-2a System Port Specification diagrams for NAF 3
In the NSV-2a System Port Specification diagram, you can provide more detail to the system interfaces that are seen on the NSV-1 Systems Interface diagram. You can model system ports and protocols used by those ports when communicating with other systems. Create a stereotyped Unified Modeling Language (UML) class diagram to draw the NSV-2a System Port Specification diagram.
1 Right-click the Diagrams group of the Explorer; then click New.
2 Name the diagram and click OK.
3 Specify that the diagram is of the NSV-2a System Port Specification stereotype by performing the following steps:
Open the Properties dialog box for the diagram. Click Edit > Diagram Properties.
In the Diagram Properties dialog box, navigate to Page 2, click the drop-down list in the Stereotype property, and select NSV-02a System Port Specification.
Save the diagram and refresh the Explorer browser.
The following image shows an example of a System Port Specification diagram.
