You use the Data Migration Diagram to show data lineage – modeling the data passed, transformed, and/or cleansed by Physical Application Components at different Locations.
•You can enlarge the Location symbol and place Physical Application Components within it – if you do, they are automatically added to the Location definition, on its Applications tab (and the other way round – the Location is added to the Physical Application Component’s definition, in its Hosted at Locations property).
•You can model data entities that migrate between Applications on the Data Flow relationship line.
