Pj-Pr Project Processes: Activity Decomposition
The UAF Project Processes: Activity Decomposition viewpoint is a hierarchical diagram type that enables you to model the hierarchy of ProjectActivities. A ProjectActivity is a subtype of resource Function – it is delineated from resource Function to help you understand activities that you do to get projects done.
The flow of ProjectActivities can be modeled on a Rs-Pr Resource Processes: Flow diagram.
The Project Processes: Activity Decomposition viewpoint is a hierarchical diagram type – you connect a ProjectActivity to its parent by moving it underneath its parent until an autoconnection is established – the definitions are updated and the relationship line is automatically drawn.
This graphic is described in the surrounding text.
You can change the way the hierarchy is displayed by right-clicking on a symbol that has child symbols, and choosing Arrange Children Horizontally, Arrange Children Vertically or Arrange Children as a Block.
