Running HTML reports automatically using batch files
You can run HTML reports automatically by using a batch file. You can use the batch file when you repeatedly generate reports on the same diagrams and definitions.
1 Click Reports > HTML Reports.
2 On the Diagrams tab, select the diagrams to include in the report.
3 On the List Management tab, complete the following steps:
In the Diagram list file field, enter the file name and then click Save Now to save the list of diagrams to a file.
In the Options section, select Use List File to Publish Diagrams and Save changes to list file on exit to save the details of the diagrams to the Diagram list file when the HTML Generator is finished.
4 On the General tab, complete the following steps:
On the Template Home Page, enter the path of where to publish the report. By default, this path is:
C:\Program Files\UNICOM Systems\System Architect Suite\System Architect\SAHTML\Template\default.htm
If you moved the templates to another path, specify that path. When you create your batch file, you must include the following command:
C:\Program Files\UNICOM Systems\System Architect Suite\System Architect\sahtml.exe -e
This command opens the sahtml in execute mode. If the product is not already running, it will attempt to start it. The HTML Generator will then begin generating the report using the last recorded settings.
On the Publish Home Page, enter a folder for the home page.
5 Click Publish.
When you exit the HTML Generator, the List File Name and Use List File to Publish Diagrams options are preserved. On subsequent uses of the HTML Generator, the Diagram Tab Page controls tab shows the Diagrams for Generation that were selected when you clicked Save Now. If you no longer want to use a Diagram List File, clear Use List File to Publish diagrams. This procedure only works if the same encyclopedia is used. If a different encyclopedia is open, some or all of the diagrams might not be found and a warning message prompts you to select diagrams.
