The DECIMALSEPARATOR subcommand overrides the decimal setting if the Microsoft Windows International dialog is set to use , (comma) or other characters as a decimal separator. If this line is missing from the .RPT file and . (period) is not the decimal separator selected in the Windows configuration, an error occurs when the .RPT file is loaded.

If the .RPT file does not contain this line, use a text editor to add it to the Global Settings section before all other SETTING commands or FIELD commands that contain a decimal. The Report Editor cannot be used to make these changes.
