Using screen readers with diagrams
System Architect Publisher provides access for the hearing impaired by working with screen reader applications, such as JAWS from Freedom Scientific. A screen reader application reads a symbol’s tooltip content (usually its name and type), and then converts it to sound.
To use this feature
1 Install a Java Access Bridge.
2 Open your screen reader application.
3 Open the website you created with System Architect Publisher and navigate to a diagram.
4 Move the pointer over a symbol to hear its tooltip content.
