Lesson 3.3: Specify a destination home page
Select the home page for your HTML report.
The Publish Home Page is the destination home page for the web report that you generate. It normally has the file name of default.htm. The Publish Path is an empty folder on a local drive or network. A number of interrelated HTML pages are generated to this folder, so it is best to begin with an empty folder. In addition, all files in the Publish path, with names that are used during generation, are overwritten without warning.
1 Select General tab tab.
2 Within the Publish Home Page text box, click Browse to select the path and file name to generate the HTML report to. For example: <C>:\My Documents\Temp\default.htm. Or, to create a new directory click New Folder > Browse.
Result:
Note The filename chosen Default.htm is the same as the filename following the Template Home Page path. This is deliberate, as some of the template files have hyperlinks to the Default.htm. For this reason, name the generated file the same as the Template file.
