Searching
You can search for Encyclopedia items by name by using the Search toolbar:

The leftmost tool has a dropdown menu giving options on scope:

You type the text to be searched for in the editable Search Text dropdown.
Pressing Search performs a contains-type search and results are presented.
The Search Results pane captions include a summary of the search performed:
Simple: Scope - Search Text

Advanced: summary of where clauses
This graphic is described in the surrounding text.
Search Results present Name, Identity, Audit, Update Date, Type and Class.
A number of the last searches (simple and advanced) made are recorded in the Search Text dropdown.
Picking an item from the dropdown causes that search to be run again.
Pressing Advanced opens a dialog for configuring restrictions. The dialog presents details of the last advanced search that was run.

The Property box drop-lists are populated based on selections and contains appropriate properties and fields.
The Comparison box offers more precise comparison options if you know the property name you wish to search.
If you do not know the property name then a general text search is possible by using the 'SAALLPropsVis' field and using the 'like' comparison with the value '*value*'.
