Symbol Style
Use this command to customize construction of a symbol type in a diagram type. The settings requested to be stored through the checkboxes in the ‘Set’ and ‘Allow’ frames apply only to the types of the selected symbols. To change how a symbol is constructed, you must first add a symbol of that type to a diagram. This symbol becomes the model from which to copy all the requested styles.
To adjust the next number or prefix code, or to see the default size, you must select a single symbol before opening the dialog.
With multiple symbols selected you can change the defaults for new symbols by using the check boxes. If the selected symbols have conflicting states then a checkbox appears like this This graphic depicts a checkbox that has been ticked., which means an indeterminate state. It can still be cycled to ticked or unticked. When OK is pressed, only the settings appropriate to each symbol type are changed and only the non-indeterminate states are saved. The selection changes to reflect which symbols were used to update the defaults. The most recent selection for each symbol type is used.
