Select the Update FKs (Foreign Keys) command from the Dictionary menu to propagate foreign keys on Entity Relation, IDEF1X and Physical Data Model diagrams.

Foreign keys are primary keys if propagated from the primary key of a parent entity in an identifying relationship. Foreign keys are not primary keys if propagated from a non-identifying relationship. Foreign keys are annotated in the entity symbol as [PK] [FK] or as [FK].
