BPMN editing mode reference

When you select an editing mode of Simple or Descriptive, BPMN modeling artifacts are hidden in the user interface. All artifacts are shown when the Analytic mode is selected.

For hidden artifacts, associated properties and list items are also hidden. However, no property or other data is lost if hidden artifacts are currently drawn on the diagram.
