Enabling the simulator

To enable the simulator, you must have a System Architect Simulator license.

The System Architect Simulator consists of two components:

▪The property set necessary to simulate BPMN, IDEF3, or Process Chart diagrams.

▪The System Architect Viewer component to perform the simulation.

Note Both the property set and System Architect Viewer module are provided when you install System Architect.

1 From the Tools menu, click Customize Method Support > Encyclopedia Configuration. The System Architect Property Configuration window displays.

2 In the Business Modeling group, select Simulation.

3 Click OK to close the dialog.

4 Click File > Open Encyclopedia to open the encyclopedia again. When the encyclopedia opens, the simulation property set will be activated.
