1 Open a BPMN, IDEF3, or Process Chart diagram, and preferably, have simulation properties set for the symbols on the diagram and the diagram itself.
2 From the Tools menu, select SA Simulator > Run Simulation.
The System Architect Simulator first checks to see if your model is valid (see Validating the model). If no errors are found, simulation continues: an animated screen displays in the System Architect Simulator window.
