IDEF
You can use IDEF (Integrated Computer-Aided Manufacturing (ICAM) DEFinition) to perform modeling in support of enterprise integration.
IDEF was originally developed by the US Air Force Program for Integrated Computer Aided Manufacturing (ICAM). There are actually 16 IDEF methods, running from IDEF0 through IDEF14 (and including IDEF1 and 1X), and capturing a gamut of information such as object-oriented design (IDEF4), simulation (IDEF2), user-interface design (IDEF8), and organization modeling (IDEF12), for example. In practice, three IDEF methods form the core of IDEF use in the field.
System Architect supports two methods:
IDEF0
IDEF3
