Convert business interaction model to business information service interaction model
The first cut of the Business Information Service model will generally be identical to the Business Service model. This tool makes a duplicate of the Business Services and their respective contracts as Business Information Services and equivalent contracts and links them back to the original Business Services for traceability. The analyst may then split or modify Business Information Services, while maintaining traceability.
1 Open a Business Interaction diagram.
2 Click Tools > IAF > Convert Business Interaction Model to Business Information Service Interaction Model.
3 A dialog appears, requesting the name of the target diagram. Enter a name. This name must be unique for a BIS Interaction model.
The tool creates a duplicate of the Business Interaction Model and constituent Business Services and contracts.
