If you modify the grid settings in the Grid & Reduced View dialog box and click OK without selecting the Save check box, the settings become the default for the current session only. If you close the product, open it again, and start a new session, the original default grid settings apply. If you modify the grid settings in the Grid Reduced View dialog box and select the Save check box, your new settings become the default for all future sessions.
