Guidance
The DoDAF 2 metamodel (DM2) for Guidance is implemented as follows:
Rule
Rules, according to the DoDAF 2 specification, are “prescriptive sets of procedures regarding the execution of activities in an enterprise. Rules exist in the enterprise whether or not they are ever written down, talked about, or even part of an organization’s consciousness. However, it is fairly common practice for organizations to gather rules in a formal manner for specific purposes.”
Creation of rules data must aim toward clear, easily understood, and totally unambiguous statements that define a procedure or function.
Rule is specified in the Guidance, Skills, and Activity parts of the DM2.
Standard
You can specify standard in the Guidance and Skills portion of the DoDAF 2 metamodel.
