Setting squiggles for ICOM arrows
You can set squiggles for ICOM arrows. A squiggle in OV-5 is a jagged line that shows that a name applies to an arrow, when the two are not adjacent in the diagram.
Squiggles can also be used to connect graphic comments and operational activities for the same reason.
You can set the maximum allowable distance between the label and symbol before the squiggle automatically appears.
To set squiggles and allowable distance
1 With your diagram open, from the Format menu, select Diagram Format, Notation. The Notation dialog appears.
2 In the Line to Remote Text section, select 'Squiggled' Line.
3 Select Draw line to text if it is further away than and type the number of inches.
4 Click OK.
