Setting preferences for OV-5 Node Tree diagrams (ABM for DoDAF)
You can create a hierarchy of Operational Activities in an OV-5 Node Tree diagram.
Prerequisite
Before you begin drawing the OV-5 Node Tree diagram, you should enable automatic numbering.
1 Click Tools > Preferences.
2 In the Preferences dialog box, in the left column, verify that Number is selected, so that automatic numbering is enabled.
3 Click OK.
4 Once you have drawn a symbol on a Node Tree diagram, you can specify the numbering scheme that is applied to operational activities that you draw on the diagram.
▪Select Format > Symbol Format, Symbol Style.
▪In the Symbol Style dialog box, set Next number as 1, and Prefix Code as A.
