Populating data flow lines with data elements and data structures in SV-4 diagrams (ABM for DoDAF)
You can specify the data elements and data structures that flow within data flow lines in the definition of the line.
A data element is the smallest piece of data that is captured in System Architect's underlying data dictionary. A data structure is a grouping of data elements. For example, you could create data elements such as Street Address, City, State, and Zip Code, and group them in a data structure called Address.
To add data elements or data structures to a data flow line
1 Open the definition dialog of a data flow line.
2 Click Choices in the Data list box of the definition dialog. Drag pertinent data elements or data structures into the Data list box.
