Specifying systems for intersection definitions in the system node to system function matrix (ABM for DoDAF)
You can specify one or more systems for the intersection definition of each System Node and System Function. In doing so, you are specifying which system performs a system function on a given node.
1 In the System Node to System Function matrix, select a cell in which you have put X to signify a relationship, right-click the selection, and then click Edit Cell Definition.
The SysNodeFunction definition dialog box opens. On the Introduction tab, the Description property has X in it. This signifies that there is a relationship between the corresponding System Node and System Function.
2 Click the System tab of the SysNodeFunction definition.
3 You can specify systems of the intersection, either by selecting Choices and reusing one or more existing systems already defined in the repository, or by adding new systems (by typing in the name of the role and clicking Add, then Define). In our example, we add the Camera Pod Positioning System role to the definition list box.
4 To specify systems of the intersection, do one of these:
To use existing systems, click Choices; then select one or more systems that are currently defined in the repository.
To add new systems, type the name of the role, and then click Add > Define.
In the following example, the Camera Pod Positioning System is added to the Systems list of the definition list box.
