Running SV-9 technology forecast reports (ABM for DoDAF)
A System Technology Forecast is a detailed description of emerging technologies and specific hardware and software products. You can run a report that shows predictions about the availability of emerging capabilities and about industry trends in specific timeframes (e.g., 6-month, 12-month, 18-month intervals), and confidence factors for the predictions.
The forecast includes potential technology impacts on current architectures, and thus influences the development of transition and objective architectures. The forecast is tailored to focus on technology areas that are related to the purpose for which a given architecture is being built, and identifies issues that will affect the architecture.
1 Click Reports > DoDAF (ABM) Reports.
2 Select the System Technology Forecast (SV-9) report.
3 Highlight the definition; then click Run.
