Generating relationships between Process Threads on relationship map diagrams
You can create a relationship map diagram that automatically charts relationships between Process Threads.
Each Process Thread is represented by one or more Process Chart diagrams, which graphically show the Events, Processes, and Results of the thread, or part of the thread. If a Result from one Process Thread identifies a Primary Event from another Process Thread, then the Process Threads are related.
Relationships between Events and Results are specified in the Event to Result matrix.
1 Create a new or open an existing relationship map diagram.
2 Place the Process Thread symbols you are interested in on the diagram workspace.
You can right-click the diagram workspace and click Choices to get a list of Process Threads in the current encyclopedia. Alternately, you can drag Process Threads from the Browser to the diagram.
3 Select the Process Threads symbols on the diagram that you are interested in, right-click the selection, and select Dictionary > Balance Relationship Map.
The relationships between Process Threads are created in the diagram.
