You can draw a functional hierarchy diagram manually.
1 Create a new or open an existing functional hierarchy diagram.
2 Attach Elementary Business Processes to Organizational Functions in a hierarchical structure.
As you drag an elementary business process symbol close to and under a Function symbol, a dashed line links the two symbols. When you see the dashed line, drop the elementary business process symbol. A solid connection is made, adding the elementary business process to the hierarchy.
3 When you are finished editing the diagram, click Save.
The Elem Bus Process to Function matrix is automatically updated based on the information graphically shown in the diagram.
