Cross-reference between NAF and DoDAF products
The NATO Architecture Framework (NAF) is based on the U.S. DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
The majority of products are similar but different identifiers are used in the two frameworks. NAF products are identifiable by the use of the prefix “N”, for example, NAV-1, NAV-2, and so on. Some names also differ slightly.
In some cases the numbering is modified to take into account the fact that not all DoDAF products are used in NAF. The DoDAF products for OV-6 and SV-10 are not used in NAF, so the OV-7 Logical Data Model corresponds to the NOV-6 Concept Data Model. Similarly the SV-11 Physical data Model corresponds to the NSV-10 Physical Data Model.
