Associating node tree diagrams with IDEF0 models for NAF
After you create a node tree diagram, you must associate the diagram with an IDEF0 model.
To associate a node tree diagram with an IDEF0 model
1 Open the IDEF0 Model definition that contains the Operational Activity that you want to decompose. To open the IDEF0 Model definition, in the explorer, click the All Methods tab, expand the Definitions group, and select IDEF0 Model.
Typically, you decompose the Operational Activity that is drawn on the Context NOV-5 diagram of the Activity Model.
2 In the IDEF0 Model definition, click the Choices button of the Node Tree Diagram (Node Tree) field. The currently existing Node Tree diagrams in your encyclopedia are displayed in the dialog, including the one you just saved.
3 Drag the node tree diagram to the Node Tree diagram (Node Tree) field.
4 Click OK.
