A Mechanism Flow symbol is used to represent tools that are available to assist in performing a function. Mechanism flows always enter the function box from the bottom. The origin of a mechanism flow line that connects two function boxes is always on the right side of the first function box; the termination of the flow line is always on the bottom of the second function box.
