When running Application Landscape Reports against an Application Landscape diagram symbols are automatically added to the diagram. The layout aesthetics of symbols added can be controlled to a degree by specifying the number of columns to create when adding new symbols.
To specify the layout control property
1 Create an Application Landscape diagram.
2 Right-click an unused part of the diagram, and then click Diagram Properties.
3 Specify the minimum number of columns in which to layout symbols when added automatically to the diagram. when an application landscape report is executed for the first time a prompt is provided that requests a value for this.
