Placing organizational functions on decomposition diagrams
You can add organizational functions to parent organizational entities on decomposition diagrams.
1 In the Decomposition Diagram toolbox, select the Organizational Function symbol.
The symbol is displayed with a large cross in the middle.
2 Drag the Organizational Function until its top half overlays the bottom half of its parent Organizational Entity.
3 Move the pointer down until a dotted line connects the Organizational Function and the Organizational Entity, and then drop the Organizational Function.
Result
The first Organizational Function of any Organizational Entity is placed directly below the Entity. The second and subsequent Organizational Functions are placed to the left or right of the first; you can drag them to the right or left.
