An Organizational Function symbol is a rectangular symbol representing the function of the parent entity. To place the Organizational Function, move it over the lower half of the Organizational Entity to which it belongs. System Architect will create the connection and move the Organizational Function into place. The first Organizational Function of an Organizational Entity will be placed directly below the Organizational Entity. The second and subsequent Organizational Functions for an Organizational Entity will be placed to the left or right of the first Organizational Function. Moving the Organizational Function after placement will disconnect it from the parent Entity. To reconnect it, move it up to the middle of the parent level until the connection line appears.
