An association class is an association that also has class properties (or a class that has association properties). Even though it is drawn as an association and a class, it is considered as a single element.
Creating an association class link
Select the association class link line from the toolbox or Draw menu, and draw a line from a class to an association line. The Association Class Link line attaches to the association line.
Removing an association class link
Select the association line, and then click Draw, Break Class/Association Link.
