The Note symbol on the toolbar is used to attach a note to the current diagram. The Note symbol may be used multiple times on the same diagram.
To use the Note symbol, simply choose it from the toolbar or Draw menu and place it on the diagram. You can add a text description to the note using the Graphic Comment field of the Note’s Symbol Property dialog, or the Description field of the Note’s Definition dialog.
Attaching a note to a symbol
1 Right‑click the symbol, and then click Edit; or, select the symbol and choose Edit, Class from the main toolbar.
2 In the class definition dialog, click the Symbol tab.
3 Type the note in the Graphic Comment field, and then click OK.
The text appears on the diagram, enclosed within a Note graphic and attached to the symbol by a dashed line.
