Customizing the repository metamodel: SAPROPS.CFG and USRPROPS.TXT
The metamodel of information that you capture in a System Architect repository is specified by two files working together: SAPROPS.CFG and USRPROPS.TXT. In these files are specified all diagrams, symbols, and definitions, and their contained properties.
The role of these two files is as follows:
▪SAPROPS.CFG: Contains properties that define the default metamodel of an encyclopedia.
▪USRPROPS.TEXT: An empty file where you can add code to extend the base metamodel, so that you can capture information that you need for your modeling needs.
