Pages are automatically added to tabs when the properties of a chapter exceed the room necessary for them to be laid out on a single page. The properties are automatically placed onto a second or subsequent page. Page navigation arrows are automatically added to the upper-left corner of the tab.

Groups are treated as a single item during page placement. If a group, in its entirety, cannot be placed in the framework of a tab, it is placed on a new page.
