Analytic depictions are specified using a number of keywords and key clauses in a symbol property’s List Depictions clause.

An Analytic depiction is noted by a keyword indicating the position (right, left, top, bottom) that must be followed by a file name. The file name for the analytic graphic includes its location in the Files table of the encyclopedia. The position determines the relative location of a graphic to the symbol for node symbols. For line symbols, the position specifies the relative location of the analytic graphic to the name of the line.
