All supporting products must be at the same exact version as System Architect. This restriction includes, but is not limited to, the following software:
▪System Architect XT.
▪System Architect Compare.
▪System Architect Publisher.
▪System Architect Catalog Manager.
▪System Architect Focal Point Integration supports UNICOM Systems, Inc. Focal Point 6.3 and 6.4.
▪System Architect XT: You can install System Architect XT on the same computer as System Architect. This installation includes these requirements:
▪You must install the same version of each product.
▪You must install System Architect before you install System Architect XT.
▪When you install System Architect XT over System Architect, the installation is incremental. Therefore, you cannot choose a different installation path for System Architect XT.
▪You cannot run System Architect while clients are running System Architect XT on the System Architect XT server.
If you upgrade System Architect, you must also upgrade these other products.
Compatible IBM Rational software
System Architect integrates with these IBM Rational products:
▪System Architect DOORS Interface 11.4, which is available with System Architect and is compatible with Rational DOORS 9.0 to 9.7.
▪System Architect Change integration supports Rational Change 4.7, 5.0. Beginning with System Architect 11.4.1, Rational Change 5.1 is also supported.
