Data can be exported to Focal Point® from an existing profile or when a profile is created.
1 Click Tools > Focal Point.
2 In the Login dialog, enter the Server URL, Login Name, and Password
3 Click Login.
If you connect successfully, the main SA-Focal Point® screen is displayed. At the top of the screen, it asks “What would you like to do?” Successful logins are maintained for the duration of your System Architect session,
4 Click Send data from a previously saved Focal Point profile. The Export Focal Point® profile dialog is displayed.
5 Click the Select Focal Point profile list and select a profile. By default, the Application Portfolio Management profile will be a choice. Any profiles you create will also be displayed in the list.
6 Click Export.
Note You can also export by clicking on a Focal Point® profile definition in the Explorer. The Export to Focal Point context-menu option is available in any tab of the Explorer where Focal Point® definitions are displayed.
7 Click Yes to open Focal Point®. This launches the browser and enables you to login the Focal Point® server.
If you click No, the SA-Focal Point screen is displayed again, and you can continue working in this session or click Exit.
8 After logging into Focal Point® web application, select 'System Architect' as the workspace
9 Click Display from the left navigation menu and select SA Application. You can find the exported data in this view.
