Creating a friend relationship between System Architect and IBM Rational products makes a product’s resources consumable by other products. Processing friend requests from Jazz Team Servers or applications generates a consumer key and secret that provides authorization for use.
1 In Jazz Team Server, on the Server Administration home page, expand the Communication section, and then click Friends (Outbound).
2 Under Root Services URI, click Add.
3 In the Add Friend dialog box, enter property values in each field. Each field contains a brief description of the property to enter.
4 Click Create Friend.
5 Click Next.
A provisional key is generated that you must authorize.
