In a System Architect diagram, you can show incoming links to determine whether other products contain links to the selected System Architect artifact. The incoming links are generated by querying the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) provider on the selected resource. In System Architect, querying is supported only when the provider is System Architect or IBM Rational Design Manager.
Prerequisite
To show incoming links the following items must be enabled:
▪The OSLC provider must be configured in Tools > Service Provider Configuration.
▪The IP address or host name that is used for OSLC linking must be configured in the SARestServerConfiguration.xml file, in the System Architect installation folder.
Procedure
1 In System Architect, open an encyclopedia with incoming links.
2 In the Explorer, expand the Diagrams or Definitions nodes.
3 Select the diagram or definition with the incoming links.
4 To show incoming links, click the Show Incoming Links menu item on any of the diagram, symbol, or Explorer context menus.
