Raw Data option
You may use the Raw Data option with either Text or HTML type reports.
Using Raw Data option for text reports
Toggling on the Raw Data option for text-type reports extracts information garnered in the report into well-formed tables made up of joined rows, in a format compatible with Microsoft Access. It is equivalent to applying the Extract command to the report. You may then use Access’s query and formatting capabilities to create reports based on the extracts of the System Architect Encyclopedia.
If you select the Raw Data option for a text-type report, you must specify an Output File for the text file of raw data generated. Three files will be generated: output_file_name_DATA.DBF, output_file_name_DATA.DBT, and output_file_name_DATA.NDX.
Using Raw Data option for HTML reports
If you use the Raw Data option with an HTML-type report, it will generate raw HTML (not formatted by a selected XSL stylesheet) to the output directory that you have specified, with the name of the output file you have specified appended with an ‘_data’ (for example, if you generate an HTML report to ..\temp\output.htm, the raw data will be output to ..\temp\output_data.htm). You may open the HTML raw data in third-party products such as Microsoft Excel.
