Running reports to Microsoft Word format
You can use the reporting interface to query an open encyclopedia and generate formatted reports in Microsoft Word.
When generating reports you can use the sample Microsoft Word template files (.DOT files) that are included in System Architect. You can find the sample templates in installed in the Templates folder. You can use the templates as is, customize them, or create new ones. You can use the Visual Basic for Applications programming language to program the templates: see Microsoft Visual Basic for applications.
To run a report in Microsoft Word format
1 Click File > Open encyclopedia, and then select an encyclopedia to open.
2 Click Reports > Word reports.
3 Select a report.
