Configuring user access rights to servers, catalogs, and encyclopedias
Before users can connect to the server and begin work on encyclopedias or catalogs, you must configure the appropriate user access permissions to the Microsoft SQL Server. You can assign access rights to users that enable them to connect to database servers and to open, edit, and create encyclopedias and catalogs.
There are three common types of users require different access rights to perform their tasks on encyclopedias.
