History
The History command enables you to track the history of the definitions created in a repository and revert back to previous versions of the definition. You turn the History function on through SAEM. You may turn it on for an encyclopedia’s Entity and/or Files tables.
To enable the history tables for a repository
1 In SAEM, select a server (by choosing Database, Select Database or selecting a database from the drop-down menu in the database toolbar). You can only change the History status of the database when no one else is using the encyclopedia.
2 In SAEM, select Tools, History, Status.
3 Select one of the following options for the Entity table and for the Files table.
Disabled specifies that it's not enabled for this database encyclopedia in the respective History table.
Lite specifies that only selected details of the table should be logged in the respective History table.
Full specifies that all the details of the table should be logged in the respective History table.
From the point that History is turned on, changes to definitions are tracked.
