The Diagram Preview pane shows an image of the currently selected diagram from the Explorer. You may have another type of diagram opened, but this will show you a preview of another diagram before you open it. Any diagram details, such as properties are displayed in the Properties Pane.
When there are no items displayed in the pane the following messages will be displayed:
▪“x items selected” if multiple items are chosen
▪“Details are not available” if no item is selected.
▪“A Preview is not available” if no diagram is selected.
When the Diagram Preview pane is closed, you can re-display it by selecting View > Diagram Preview or by click the Show Diagram Preview Window icon.
