Inserting segments into lines
The Insert Line Segment command allows you to split a single line into two segments.
Sometimes it is necessary to add additional bend points to lines of the Straight orthogonal style in order to force them to follow the track you want.
Adding line segments
1 Select the line and right‑click and select Insert line segment.
The cursor turns to a drawing pencil.
2 Position the cursor on the location in the line that you want the endpoint of the segment and press Enter on the mouse.
The endpoint can be changed by dragging it to the desired position on the line.
Removing line segments
Right‑click the line, and then click Reduce line segments.
