Resizing a rectangular symbol
1 Make sure the cursor is shaped like a cursor and not like a pencil before you select a symbol. Either press ESCAPE, select the cursor shape from the Toolbox, or click Draw > Select Mode to return the cursor to a cursor shape.
2 Click inside the symbol.
3 Drag one of the surrounding handles to a new location.
You can resize a symbol proportionally by dragging a corner handle, or you can resize a symbol non-proportionally by dragging a midpoint handle.
